If a computer can understand the impact of wood burning, why don’t people get it!
Missing is cooking with gas, which can lead to the production of NOx gases. Also when cooking on any stove or burner, the production of VOCs, carbonaceous particles and COx gases from the substances being cooked.
Cooking was thought to be the biggest indoor pollutant source, when the WHO produced there 2012 report of 7,000,000 people who die prematurely due to air pollutants. IAQ was a bigger risk than outdoors!
Although you discuss needing an expert to diagnose sources etc. Opening windows, extraction hoods and expert advice online, can help alleviate much of the indoor pollutants discussed.
Pretty good start. A key point is that Indoor Air Quality is generally ‘good’ with ‘events’ due to human behavior or infiltration from outdoors. Having an Air Quality Monitor tell you in real time when these events are happening, how long they last and can give you insight into sources. When you clean the air, it tells you when you have healthy air again.
